Dublin/Kildare Clinic

In February 2017, we moved from Naas to Rathcolle to serve both Kildare and Dublin, in response to growing demand for our services from both regions. Our new clinic in the picturesque village of Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, is only 5 minutes from the M50 (Avoca Exit) and features a larger therapy room and additional clinic space to cater for our growing team of multi-disciplinary therapists.

All staff in our Rathcoole clinic are supervised by Julie O’Sullivan, Head Occupational Therapist and Clinical Manager.

Rachel Maunsell
Senior Occupational Therapist

Rachel graduated from TCD in 2013 and worked as an Occupational Therapist for 1 year in Ireland, before moving to Singapore and taking up a role at a Community Hospital working in a physical rehabilitation setting.   In 2016, Rachel joined Total Communication Therapy, a private pediatric therapy service in Singapore, where she quickly established herself via her drive and enthusiasm for learning and within a short while became head of the department.  Rachel gained invaluable experience of working daily with young children with a wide range of needs including assessment and treatment of children with  Learning disabilities, Down syndrome, ADHD, Gross and Fine Motor issues, Children with hand writing problems (Dysgraphia, dyslexia), and children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders such as Autism and Rett’s Syndrome.

Rachel heads up our clinical team in Dublin and is based in Rathcoole , Co. Dublin.

Naomi Hill
Senior Occupational Therapist

Naomi joined our team in Rathcoole this year, after returing from Canada, where she spent 7 years working as an Occupational Therapist.  Naomi graduated with a BSc. in Occupational Therapy from TCD and started working for the HSE as a Community Occupational therapist in Dublin.  In 2012, Naomi moved to Canada and took up a role in Vancouver working in rehabilition services, before moving to a Paediatric role with a private clinic, providing direct service provision in paediatrics for a variety of diagnoses and developmental delays such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorders, ADHD, etc. Services were provided in the clinic, at home or at their school. Naomi has completed several child-specific courses including Ready Set Regulate; Handwriting intervention for school aged children, the Alert course, Zones of Regulation and Sensory Integration.

Hannah Maher
Senior Occupational Therapist

Hannah is based in our Kilkenny Clinic and also works one day per week in Naas.  Hannah has several years experience as a paediatric occupational therapist, having previously worked in the UK and for another independent practice in Ireland.  Hannah is passionate about sport, having played Camogie at senior county level for Kilkenny and brings a wonderfully vibrant and happy disposition to the team.

Hannah has a particular interest in Dyspraxia and Sensory Integration and has completed a Sensory Defensiveness course and is also trained in Yoga Techniques for children with special needs.

Hannah has also completed the Handwriting without Tears course and offers group handwriting courses for children looking to strengthen their handwriting skills.

Hannah has also completed her module 1 post graduate training in Sensory Integration and is currently working towards achieving her post graduate certificate in Sensory Integration.

Julie Holmes
Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Julie is a highly experienced Speech and Language therapist, specialising in children on the ASD spectrum.  Julie works as part of our multi-disciplinary ASD Assessment and Treatment team and also conducts assessment and therapy for SLT.  Julie works 2 days per week in our Rathcoole clinic.

Dr. Anthony Webster
Chartered Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Webster is also part of our multi-disciplinary ASD Assessment and Treatment team and heads up our Psychology services in the Dublin region. HE has over 15 years experience of working with children with a wide range of psychological needs and also works as part of the County Meath HSE team for Psychological services.
